Contact Lens
I don t know who got the idea of putting lenses on our eyes so we can see, but I m really glad they did. I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old. Maybe you have, too. Did you feel a little awkward in them? Did you worry about being hit by a ball when you were out on the playground? And swimming! That was a nightmare. I couldn t see a thing without my glasses. It was just no fun to be around a pool where my glasses would get all splashed with water.
If you haven t gotten contacts yet, let me say that you will be glad when you do. Lots of things are simply no problem anymore. I realize there is lasik surgery now, but I can t stand the idea of someone cutting on my eye. Call me old-fashioned, but I think I m in my contacts for the rest of my life. I know a lot of people feel the same way. Yes, some people are iffy about having something on their eye, but believe me, you will get used to it.
Suddenly you can see at the beach or swimming pool! You don t have to take them off and clean them all the time. You can wear contact lenses all day long (some longer). Your whole face looks different. It really opens you up. I know from my own experience that no one really hides behind glasses when it s the only way to see, but you will feel much freer in contacts.
Do you know when I really appreciate my contacts the most? When I m being intimate with my lover. Trust me, if you ve gone through deciding whether to see or not in bed, and fumbled with your glasses falling off sometimes, you will be so grateful for your contacts.
I order mine online now. I use 1800contacts.com and there are many other sources. Talk to your doctor about contacts and online ordering. You will feel so different with them!
